Why do girls pose like this?

Is it me or girls try to look curvier then actually are in pictures. They try to place their legs to look curvier/slimmer. Like in this pic, I’m genuinely curious lol. Is it too look curvier or is it just a coincidence?

I don't know. They want to lead guys on because they want to, or because they feel insecure about themselves because they're not sure what guys like and try to lie about it, or they were bullied in school and try and create that illusion to make them feel better about themselves; honestly saying they are trying to escape the reality of their bodies by picturing something else; sometimes they go to extremes like binge eating, eating and not exercising, or just not eating and exercising too much and neither of both.
But back to the illusion thing: They may just want to lead people on so they can get more of a following to their peers and on social media.
I think if you're that ashamed of your curves that you have to lie about them on social media, then you're not my type. I'm a fan of girls who are proud of their bodies, and blush whenever I tell them that it's adorable/sexy.
