its kinda funny how couple of weeks ago I was part of the 1% of the population who has never watched an episode of Game of Thrones in my life. but now I'm watching episode #1 of series 5 as I type this. besides excessive violence I also noticed that this series also has a lot of nudity and sex scenes, especially female nudity. so far I think I only seen 2-3 episodes where they actually show male nudity and I find it kinda surprising.
anyways I think this is loved by both the male and female audiences alike. so I was wondering does female nudity not bother women at all?
I mean I would feel pretty weird and grossed out watching shows/movies with lots of male nudity and i'm obviously not alone in this one.

As long as it doesn't objectify or degrade women too much I really don't mind. Seeing a human body shouldn't upset anyone I don't think. I mean we are all basically the same and we all have sex etc. So I think tasteful female nudity is fine and it really doesn't bother me.
Why is it different for you? I get if legs are spread and masturbation is occurring then that is a different sport. But if it is just women walking around naked, that seems to be pretty healthy, in my view at least.
I can't speak for exactly how it makes my girlfriend feel, but I'm guessing she doesn't like it. She looks away when there's any nudity and makes me watch so that I can tell her when it's off screen.
Not gonna vote, but will object to how there is a preference in the male mind. I'm 100% heterosexual, but IDC if its male or female nudity, no one should. I'm not looking for equal representation, I'm certainly not looking for softcore porn (which is why I had to stop watching GoT), but would rather nudity be representative as part of the story. If a man is skinny-dipping... show it. If a woman is sunbathing au naturale, show it. But if the only point is to shock audiences with raw dogging... its just generating the wrong kind of audience, because what possible interest does that audience have in the story anymore? They've been pandered to in the grossest, most unnatural, inorganic way. If a love interest would come along in either of those situations, I'd be interested in how the nude person reacts, what dialogue transpires, if it leads to a sexual situation - how? Was it virtual rape where the nude person was vulnerable? Or was their feeling involved that allowed the nude person to submit naturally and desire that interaction? There's a lot of nuance to on-screen nudity that GoT, Sparticus, American Horror Story and other panderers got severely wrong...
I like it tbh. Like you mentioned Game of Thrones my favorite parts were nudity and sex lol. I am a little embarrassed to say that but it is true. I also did not mind male nudity but I was more interested in seeing the women nude. This will sound bad but I mentally compare myself w them and seeing them naked makes the comparison more vivid to me. I know I am weird but anyway JMO!
There's no male nudity in movies and that's very unequal. If women are made to be some type of sexual item then so should men. The movie industry is pretty sexist. I'm not saying this because I want to see a lot of penis but because you see full nudity of women in almost all movies nowadays but you only see a guys ass or just in underwear. That's just totally unfair
