My bum is pretty firm, I'm a runner so it gets worked to a tight little tush! My husband has used it as a pillow, other parts of me too, tummy, shoulders. Now if you're talking how soft the skin is, it's pretty soft and smooth like other places on a girls body that's almost always covered!
