I smoke cigarettes since college, I knew it was a bad habit but it was my escape just like anyone else that drinks, rolls, smokes weed to "get away" my boyfriend and I smokes weed but he said he doesn't like it when I smoke cigarettes and won't kiss me if I do. But when I smoke weed it's okay bc he does it? Like tf? Does it seem unfair to y'all? And by the way I still smoke despite what he says but like foreal what's the deal?

Honestly so entertaining how this day and age have all the same opinions 😂 Talking about being bad for your health, but vaping is seen as socially "okay" or "a better alternative" bc it claims to not have the same ingredients as a cigarette. But now there's studies saying they have other ingredients that cause cancer. So what then? In 20-30 years from now people are gonna be saying the same things about vaping as they do with cigarettes now. Don't even get me started about alcohol
Why is it unattractive for girls to smoke cigarettes?
Most likely its due to the cig smelling bad. It’s like kissing an ashtray. Lol, or so I have been told (I’m a smoker too) But it Never mattered to me when kissing. But If it did severely to the other person. Then I would use a breath mint or Binaca after/before kissing. Yeah, I also think it’s unfair. Take a hit of the weed before kissing (lol) it might help.
On the attractiveness: It’s the illusion that ladies (more so gorgeous ladies) are like goddesses (or tend to treat their bodies better than men) Therefore causing attraction. They are perceived as very goddess like/perfect (smell good, good diet, very hygienic, perfect skin, etc.) especially if they have a nice body. So when it’s revealed that she smokes (lighting up or by disclosure) then it kinda ruins the illusion and becomes unattractive/turn off for some. Also with all the damaging health issues it causes, adds to the un-attractiveness. At least that’s how it was before. Now in modern society, it seems that it can also apply to men too.
The first time I saw a girl (classmate) smoke was in middle school. She was very pretty. At that time I smoked (started young.. I know) and she asked me for a light. It wasn’t a turn off. I was just surprised (being underage and all) that I wasn’t the only one who smoked. But that discovery just made me know who I could ask for a cig from next time (lol).
I know I'm late but it's not unattractive. The reason for the hard time your boyfriend is giving you is has a simple explanation. Cigarettes are no longer socially acceptable. I'm sure if you were vaping he would have no complaint. I'm sure you take good care of yourself so it has nothing to do with your breath or the smell. They've spent millions & the better part of 30 years campaigning and lobbying against big tobacco and they successfully brainwashed the masses and all but outlawed smoking. I remember being able to smoke in bars. Now I smoke in exile on the outskirts of the party. I think girls who smoke are super sexy. It's rebellious and I know if you smoke you're probably down to break some rules & I like that. Besides if you smoke you're probably 21 or over & that's a plus. I don't know if you're a good girl with a bad a habit or a good girl ready to go bad but I like your style. Don't be a follower & don't give in to peer pressure. Keep smoking. You're boyfriend is supposed to tell you to do you. He should kiss you whenever. Don't let society or a dude tell you that noise. Keep smoking. It's the feminist move.
You want to kill yourself and maybe end up with cancer. That is not attractive. You may say, that is not what you want. But your actions by continuing to smoke speaks louder than words. Nobody wants to kiss smokers breath, potentially have a child with such a person, let alone risk investing financially and more with somebody like that because now if health problems arise you become a liability or the cause of somebody else getting sick. I deal with asthma and other health issues. I would fear of getting cancer due to second-hand smoke from other people. If others want to die, that's them. My late grandfather should be an example of other people should stop smoking especially when you yourself are at risk cancer. Because he never listened and was found dead at his home after being in the hospital for complications.
Terrible for your health. Doesn't even get you high. Causes wrinkles and skin damage. Causes stained teeth and dental problems. Looks stupid because it is stupid. Ridiculous waste of money. Makes your mouth smell and taste awful, same for your vaginal fluids. Makes your hair, skin and clothes smell bad. Makes you annoying. Plus smokers pollute, endanger other's health, and start accidental fires.

It's not just that non-smokers are too sensitive, or we're making it sound worse than it is, just to complain, or to try and help you quit, and you don't really smell that bad, no. You fucking STINK, and it's NASTY to have to smell.
When a smoker smokes a cigarette outside, they'll smoke it and then put it out and then walk inside, and the smell just follows them and infects the whole room, and it just rolls off of you like a cloud.
And it doesn't even smell like an organic stink like shit or piss or vomit, those are bad enough, but cigarette smoke smells like nasty chemical death. How can you fucking suck on one of those things without puking?
And there's no spray on the market that masks that odor. Whatever you spray to not stink will just cause the cigarette stink to mutate.

I don't know weed's "aura" especially on your lips is a lot less.. icky. Than smoked up carcinogenic tobacco. It honestly does have an appeal to me but I think the unattractiveness just stems from the health effects and connotations it can deliver to you as a character and more importantly what it will do to you. I'd kiss yo smokin' self LOL but, I mean that WOULD be the way to try and get you to psychologically combat smoking them. I WOULD want you to stop smoking. I smoke them, I did. I always smoked them with my weed though, I created a mindset where tobacco was only ever there to enhance weed.

1. Smoking is incredibly bad for your health and ages you at a very accelerated rate.
2. It smells disgusting, and it gets in your clothes and hair and furniture (and his) and doesn't leave.
3. It takes you away from your life by constantly having to step away to smoke.
4. It's very expensive and will be a constant drain on your money.

So he kisses you when u smoke weed, but not when u smoke cigs. Weed and cigs are VERY different let me tell you. Cigs: Contains loads of additives that makes the smoke smoother, the ash whiter and breaks down your biological airfilter behind your mouth. Nicotine is poisonous and shrinks bloodvessels. This is my main concern because that can lead to hearingloss, wrinkles anywhere, bad skin, slower healing after bodily damage, acne, impotence, smaller dick and tits, and obviously worse brain and body function. Weed: Expands your bloodvessels. Is not poisonous. Enhances brain and body function. You see? Weed>cigs, right?
I smoke tobacco myself and think cig-smoking-grills are very attractive. It shows that they dare to do what they want despite stigma and shit.
But tobacco-smoking is unhealthy and it's therefore reasonable to find tobacco-smoking unattractive. It's the same thing with obesety, drug abuse, and lazyness. It's just unhealthy and might be a sign of weakness.
Smoking is gross no matter who does it. For dating, it stinks (smoke smells bad), it makes everything around stink (car, hair, clothes, furniture), it makes your breath stink (kissing is unpleasant), it is expensive, it is addictive and the girl will most likely be addicted and have to do it her entire life and it causes a ton of health problems that could even result in death.
A. Smoking is a masculine activity, yes, it really is. And on an instinctual level most people can see it, even if they deny it to themselves. B. It is unhealthy, especially for women. C. It shows an undisciplined impulsive personality, especially in women. D. When women smoke it is often partially motivated by a vain and probably self aggrandizing and or confrontational "macha" personality.

I always thought I always viewed smoking as bad, self-destructive, and thus unattractive habit. However, on campus the other day, I noticed two very attractive girls with whom I used to go to school, and they were smoking cigarettes. For some reason, they seemed one million times more attractive. It's illogical, but I think it created a 'bad girl' sort of image.
I still wouldn't date a smoker though. Non-smokers generally can't stand cigarette smoke and its smell, something with which they would have to deal increasingly were they to date a smoker. So that may be a reason why.
Regardless if it's a man or a woman it would be a turn off for most people. Smoking isn't good for your health. It's a higher chance for cancer, bad teeth, wrinkles, early death etc. It also gives people a bad smell and it's not pleasant to kiss someone with a bad breath. To me smoking is an instant turn off.
Weed smell is stronger but it's not as bad, so that's understandable to me.
I find it unattractive. Every time I see people smoking it just looks like a pathetic habit. Even moreso when you talk to people who smoke and they have to duck out of whatever activity a group is doing to have a smoke -- they often seem so desperate for it. It's rare to find someone who doesn't *need* it at all, but when they do smoke it's this bigger deal and they take it seriously and enjoy it. Like a guy who smokes a pipe once a month for funzies is the healthy relationship with smoking, but most people just seem too desperate for it, complain about it then do it anyway. Lame.
i can see any none smoker not liking the smell and thought of you killing yourself but as a smoker myself there is a fine line between someone pointing out they dont like it and constantly nagging at you to stop

I'd never date someone who smoked cigarettes, but I don't overly care about weed since it's natural, doesn't smell that bad, and really is portrayed negatively when it's healthier than alcohol.
Now that I'm an ex-smoker I could never date a smoker. I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke from 20 feet away. I guess I could stomach a one nighter if she was hot but I couldnt date her. It’s not a gendered thing. Smoking is extremely unhealthy, makes your breath stink like crazy, and kissing a smoker tastes like the cigarettes they use, which is gross. Weed doesn’t cause lung cancer, second hand smoke, and it’s almost never done out in the open. Nothing worse than walking past a lit cigarette in the city.
Girls are quite attractive when they smoke cigarrettes, but if you do it very often (more than four cigarrettes per day), it can be really annoying. In the other hand, the smell of weed is much better than the smell of tobacco, therefore, I understand his way of thinking.

it also serves as a public display of negative character traits, some of those being susceptible to peer pressure (which is most likely the reason you started), insecurity, which is most likely the reason for the former, sucebtibility to addiction in general, having an unreflected self (continuing a very bad habit despite knowing it's bad and not necessary)
besides that, it just stinks you stink and if i'm around you, i stink. your mouth tastes like an ashtray while kissing, your hair smells like smoking in bed, sometimes even after you took a shower.
those are just a few of the reasons why we non smokers find it unattractive.

The deal is that it's a bad habit, and an expensive habit, and it stinks, kills you, and kills the people around you. If stinking and killing yourself and killing the people around you doesn't seem like much of a deal, then I guess you wouldn't understand.
It’s bullshit, and it’s not sexy or attractive at all. I wouldn’t want to kiss a smoker of anything because anything you smoke tastes nasty, and obviously smoke of any kind is bad for a person’s lungs, because the lungs weren’t meant to intake anything that is not oxygen.
Being around anyone smoking anything is disgusting. I grew up in a smoking household and had to endure it on cars, planes restaurants and happy I don't have to deal with it anymore.

I had to live with a couple guys for several years who smoked cigarettes. The stench got into all the furniture, my clothes, my car. I can't stand it now. I'd assume if they were smoking weed instead, I'd feel the same way about that. But, I feel like maybe I could date a girl who smoked weed. But, cigarettes are a definite deal breaker for me.
It's unhealthy, that's why. It also shows they don't care about their health enough to do something about it. Why would a man want a woman that won't take care of her health. Also non-smokers try to avoid being around smokers because they can contract secondhand smoke that way.

It smells really bad and strong, it makes your teeth black, it dries your skin, it's unhealthy, it's expensive. There is literally nothing good about it.
I think the same about vaping by the way, it's just a bit less disgusting. Alcohol is fine as long as it's moderated consumption, but I still know how bad it can be for health.
Oh and weed smells different. I prefer the smell of weed over that of cigarettes, although I smoke neither. If he smokes weed, chances are he doesn't mind that smell at all anymore, that's the difference
Cigarettes fuck up your teeth, skin, they smell awful stain your clothes with the scent and make kissing someone taste absolutely disgusting. Weed has a much more tolerable scent that doesn't stay forever

i don't think it has to do with being attractive, it has to do with the smell, i personally don't smoke nor i like the smell of cigarette, no idea of how would it taste to kiss someone after smoking one tho...

Well it leads to hanging skin, bad taste down there, deaseses, bad breath, yellow teeth so a lot of stuff. I wouldn't date a smoker but hopefully it's not as bad for you. I hope you quit. And also it can lower your risk of having Children.
All of it is unattractive to me. I can't comment on weed vs cigarettes but I can tell you that kissing a smoker (cigarettes) sometimes is like licking an ashtray! It can be very nasty and a turn off. I assume weed is better that way?
No one's appeal is increased by setting fire to foliage and them putting it in their mouth... It reeks, and you taste like an ashtray after. Switch to dry herb vaping, instead.

Cigarette smoke smells bad and lingers. I smoke pipe tobacco and cigars and guess what? In my house it doesn't smell and only right after i smoke do i smell. Plus its a lighter odor. Weed smoke is the same way. Smoke cigars or something instead.
