Why do modern women behave more like men?

In a more gender equal modern society the gender roles gets more fluid, so things that was associated with a gender is something both genders can do now without being looked down upon.

In the past pants, politics, business, sports and so on were something men wore and did, but after the feminist movements things gradually changed. So now women can also wear pants, participate in politics and business, be an athlete and control their own economy. Men can babysit, take care of their own children and cook. Although it's not completely socially acceptable for men to wear makeup, women's clothing and cry in public since they still would get a lot of stares, it's not as looked down upon as earlier.

So this is the reason why women and men have more similar behavior than earlier.

Because so many men these days act like women which has created a power vacuum.

Many of those feminine men may look very masculine but if they allow women to control them they are not! One theory is that single moms have raised lots of these types of males who are less rational and *more* prone to violence. I won’t say the blame is all on women creating those guys tho cause it’s also do to the ‘power vacuum’ or lack of positive male role models.

However there’s more and more men who see the problem and I predict there will be an attempt to fix things in the future.

I’m not saying I have a problem with an individual woman who wants to act like a dude tho. But on a large scale/civilization level it’s not good.

Do we? I don't think we do... It depends on what you mean. I personally am glad that women are becoming smarter, motivated and highly educated individuals. I am sad to see girls not taking care of themselves, dressing badly with bad hygiene? Yes I am. But I wouldn't see this as a part of becoming more like a man, I think this is laziness and bad education. If a man dressed badly and had bad hygiene, I don't attribute that to being a man, I would attribute that to being... gross. So if you're referring to the bad dress sense, laziness, getting frumpy and overweight... I wouldn't say that's more like man. I'd say that's plain gross.

I would personally say that I'm quite feminine. But I suppose I have nothing wrong with a woman being a little more masculine either.

Im not being sexist. In the hospital I work at you are REQUIRED to wear pants scrubs. This is how most hospitals in the United states are now. Its for multiple reasons. For better mobility and because of sexuality. Nurses used to wear skirted uniforms, no one does this anymore. I rarely see nurses wearing make up anymore. In fact they are told not to. I've worked in multiple medical facilities; this is the gold standard now.

Therefore in order to obtain more and more, we have to be results oriented or "masculine". Being experience oriented or "feminine" usually doesn't work in becoming successful. You do get a status boost if you can make a living doing what you love, but for the vast majority of us it doesn't work out that way I suppose. Femininity often has to take a backseat.
