What is it about shy girls that appeal to outgoing guys?

You'd think they'd be after the more outgoing, confident girls. Why might one choose someone like me who just isn't?

An outgoing girl will flat out tell you everything you need to know about her in about 2 minutes, makes for very little conversation and getting to know her just became very boring. Whereas with a shy girl the guy has to pry a little to get to say something. You would think that this would be very tedious, but some guys love it. What's a little work to learn more about someone that you don't know a lot about. And from personal experience, I've found that shy girls are a lot more interesting than outgoing girls because their not used to having someone that will listen to what their saying, so they talk like crazy when given the chance, never leaving you without some sort of conversation.

Outgoing guys like a challenge just like anyone else. I find myself chasing the girl who smiles quietly, as opposed to the girl who is loud or trying to compete with my humor. People can be too similar in a relationship. I really don't want to date myself... I like to talk, and to listen, and I like to have a role in a relationship specific to me, not share one with my girl.
