Personally, I can be both. I don’t have any patience when I’m sleepy nor for stupid, ignorant, or obnoxious people. However, I have a lot of patience when it comes to children, people with disabilities, or someone I love/care about. In those cases, I try to be much more tolerant and understanding.
In general & on a regular day basis though, my patience wears thin pretty fast. So I’d say I’m 65% hot-headed and 35% cold-headed 😆
I've very mellow and calm and cheerful and quite patient these days. I used to be a hothead when younger. Studying about Stoicism and specifically the parts that are more relevant to modern psycho-therapeutic techniques helped me to overcome the hot-headed nature to me. It's about challenging angry/irritable thoughts as soon as they occur.
I'm like a hippie. I can raise my voice and be quite strict and firm. I had to learn how to do that with kids since I tended to find their mischief funny, but they caught on to it to the point where they were starting to exploit that to misbehave around me as much as possible. So I learned how to raise my voice and be firm without actually getting angry. I can do that without these days without caving into angry thoughts.
I used to be really uptight and easily pissed at anything I found offensive, but I've learned to be calm, collected, chill, and content with everything. life is too short to worry and sweat over the smallest things that don't really matter in the long run.
Well I figured it was better than judging and hating, especially when you have a guilty conscience, that shit will eat you up, very bad for your health.
I used to be explosive but due to being harrased by evil spirits and attacked daily. I learned to control it. I've been practicing for over 10 years now im a cancer. When i was a teen i used to feel like this bibration in my body and then i would snap. But o started drinking at 20 and that made me reflect on my negative traits and worked on them im better now. But im still harrased by evil spirits.
I never lose the control, but sometimes it's necessary to play the bossy asshole. It's controlled aggressiveness, you need it as man otherwise all the low level chihuahuas have an instinctive need to piss on your leg.
99% cool headed, but my 1% hotheadedness is probably worse than that of most hotheads, lmao. I’m very explosive and potentially dangerous when I lose my shit.
I'm incredibly cool headed with a demon living inside me. I rarely get upset or even bother to show how I feel. I mostly came to comment because of the Chihuahua... It's smiling!
I have a long fuse. Thing is, even when I 'snap', I am still very cool and calculating. Which having been witnessed by a few they found it very focused, swift, and emotionless. I don't experience rage, so yeah, I am definitely focused.
No. It would bug the hell out of someone ai was seeing years ago who was herself a divorced abused wife. I was to easy going for her. Frankly, nothing she wished me to get in a twist over was more than trivial, which, in all reality is essentially what most het ruffled over... trivial ridiculousness. .
I really am calm cool and collected and well adjusted and a great thanks to the question answerer as I am one of the handicapped. But not troubled by my infirm body as my spirits lift me continually.
Yeah same here. Sorta lol if I’m angry or something’s bothering me, I’ll tend to bottle it up and just tear me up until I get to a breaking point and just explode. Not a very good thing :( I mean, afterwards though I feel better lol
Lol I definitely understand that. A few years ago I blew up. Now I try to let it all go in a controlled way. I'm not always successful, but it has helped a bit. I also live in the middle of nowhere and have cars and a barn I can go to.
