If a girl tells me she thinks I'm confident?

sure we want a confident guy, but there is a line. sometimes they come off as too confident and its difficult to want to see past that and get to know them because we just assume, "oh this guys way into himself." she could possibly be telling you this as like.. maybe you're confidence is sort of intimidating to her or she could possibly find it attractive.. did she say it through text if not how did her tone of voice sound?

We were face to face. She was talking about how she is good at her job and I playfully told her "don't get cocky" and she said "not cocky, just confident" Then I asked if she thought I was confident or cocky and she said confident. I was shocked because this girl and I usually rip on, tease and make fun of each other a lot. Hell, I can make her laugh and yet she won't admit I'm funny, that I'm only funny "ocassionally", but everybody else is funny to her, so I didn't know how to take it lol.

LOL, you hit the nail right on the head. She is a very nice and sweet girl with everybody, but as soon as I show up, she acts like a b*tch towards me, I can handle her, but its a very noticeable difference. Anyway, I would rather be a confident unfunny person than a gullible clown haha

Well, she could be saying your 'confident' meaning arrogant/cocky. But she could be meaning that you are a confident individual in a good way. And yes it is a major turn on to girls when a guy is loose and himself and conifdent. haha. ANything else I can answer ? :)

She was serious. Like I wrote above, she is not the kind of girl that says anything nice to ME and yet she likes talking to me a lot, so I don't know if she is lying about me being confident or about not liking me haha.

hmmm, did she say "you are really cocky" with like wide eyes? because if that's how it went she probably doesn't think of you as more than a friend because I personally can't stand guys that are overly cocky and it makes it seem like they are jusst insecure and trying to hide it.. but yeah ha ha :)

Yes. Most girls like confident guys but be careful not to come across as being cocky.
