How to be more confident when approaching girls?

The context is important. Why do you want to approach girls in the first place?

Is it to ask for directions or time of the day? In that case, just be straight forward and tell them that you are lost and you need directions to go to where you want to go.

But my fear is that you want to approach girls to "get to know them". Then it will take substantially more courage because we all know what the idea behind approaching girls for that purpose is, right?

You can train your approach in front of a mirror or with a friend or buddy. Train till you are satisfied with the message you want to bring across.

However, you must realize that girls know exactly why a guy wants to approach them out of the blue and you must be ready to be rejected.

Are you in shape? Are you working on your social skills? You best hit the gym and work on social skills. Confidence alone won't attract women. You need more than that. As a man you have to bring a lot to the table but if you're not lazy, you can achieve these things before approaching women
