Why are girls inconsiderate?

I've noticed that girls don't cut off lose ends. I was just going out with this girl for a couple weeks and we had a great time, and after the 2nd date I drove her home and she was smiling really big and said, "Call me Monday, OK?" and walked back to the house and waved at me as I drove away. Monday came around and I called. She didn't answer, so I left a message. No call back or text message. Three days later I sent an email so it would be non-threatening and I said, "Just out of curiosity, did something bad happen between us? I thought things were going great, and then silence." I had a confirmation receipt on it so I know she read it. No response.

Last month I started dating this girl off a dating site. After two dates I wasn't really into it, so I sent a text and said, "I don't really think we're hitting it off, but I wish you the best and I think you're a quality person. I'm sure you'll find someone who's right for you." and she said, "OK, I appreciate the honesty, good luck to you too."

Girls NEVER send me messages like the one I sent that girl. Guys I know (besides me) usually send those kind of messages when they're done with a girl. WTF?

I think..it's more defined by the person not the gender, myself, but I can see where you are coming from...I mean, you don't know for sure if all guys send messages telling people about the break up, cause you are obviously not gay. Could be bisexual, though.

Either way, are you 100% sure she didn't get her message mixed up and accidentally sent it to someone else? It doesn't sound like you see this girl everyday if you had to send an email or something after three days, but I'm guessing because the story moves onto 'about a month ago' that means you either saw her again and it was over without confirmation, or you never heard from her again.

Still, she does sound pretty lame, by most standards. But she could of also been worried you'd turn into a super evil insane ex and might of been worried about your response - she could of also been one of those super emotional types, and therfore might of broken down when she recieved your response - even though you seem like a down-to-earth and polite guy, worry can still exist.

I don't really know. I can't agree with you because you've decided to label the whole group of girps as being inconsiderate, but you did include a poll for me to try and decide which group is more inconsiderate instead, so it's like you've only half accused the whole gender. Grah, I'm confused anyway.

The girl you dated was inconsiderate though, and I do know that most of the girls I've ever spoken to simply just stop talking to you without saying bye or even letting you know you are boring or no longer relevent to their interests.

Because I chose to bring up the 'people might be frightened' point, I'm going to vote C on your poll, anyway. I don't consider it selfish though.

I don't really know if one is more inconsiderate than the other, but I will agree girls are bigger cowards. They have been taught constantly to be passive and weak and it's really just disappointing that so many hold up to it. That's why the ones who aren't are so appealing :P I mean, they don't have to be raving bitches, but having strength and morals and living up to them? Ya.

But I've noticed that personally from my experience girls are less likely to do such a thing where as guys will to bring closure. Kinda funny cause every girlie show/movie I've ever been forced to watch it seems the girls are all about "closure" but in real life they can't find the spine to bring closure and the guy usually is the one that wants it.

Doesn't mean that all girls are like this or even most, could just be bad luck up here with my observations.

Women want to be treated with all the respect that men get, but they think this kind of behavior is OK because they have a harder time with confrontation than guys. WTF (again)

I have sent messages like that many times and I can say I have dated guys that did not give me the straight scoop, but I suppose it was not the same because it wasn't like they did not want to see me, they just were not honest about what they wanted with me (sex only) and that is where guys are not cool.

Overall most people seem pretty well programmed to avoid any chance of conflict and I think girls have even less opportunities to learn how to tell someone they are not interested without seeing it as confrontational. Whenever I have sent an e-mail or text telling a guy I dated only once or twice, that it wasn't working out but I wished them the best, they always took it well. I mean, really, it is a little much to imagine we are the great love of anyone's life after one or two dates.

It's not about being the love of your life, it's about saying "Call me Monday!" when what you really mean is "Never contact me ever again!"

Exactly. This girl is acting like somehow she will crush you if she tells you the truth. It is almost insulting that she thinks she has to protect you from the truth when she could have simply said nothing at the moment and sent a text later saying she doesn't see this progressing and wishes you the best.

I always tell someone I am dating if I don't want to see them again. But twice guys have pulled the old "disappearing act" on me, so I don't think its gender-specific, it's just people (either boys or girls) being plain rude!

Women hate confrontation, they will not say hey this isn't working unless you bring it up, they simply say I had such a great time with you, and we should do this again call me Monday, and when you call and they don't answer or call back, they think that you get the hint.

It makes no damn logical sense I know, because in your mind your thinking, alright this chick is cool, not like the other bitches, and she's so nice and sweet, yes I will deff give her a call Monday. My guess why they do that is because it's an easy way out, she can just say ya call me and never pick up her phone, trust me she was looking at the phone when you called, and simply pushed ignore call.

You did the right thing and moved on, now if she calls you out of the blue then you can call her out on her sh*t, and be oh well well well, look who it is thought you fell off the face of the earth, so what happened, and then take it from there.
