Yes but not necessarily the overly swole T-injected types. Those are a big turn-off because I can tell they don't have much mobility and a lot of male figure competitors themselves admit they are putting their health at risk by growing so much muscle and having such little body fat they are more likely to suffer from heart failure.

Just be reasonable strong with some muscle definition, you don't even have to be super jacked and you won't believe how long ahead it will take you in terms of attracting women.

This is the mistake a lot of guys make - been there myself. They hit the gym pump the tin for years get muscular but the majority of women don't like that look which is displayed in this thread. (All well and good if you just doing it for yourself not to attract women, and yes the odd woman does like that look but far from the majority)
Most women like a guy with an athletic build - reasonable shoulders small waste etc - a guy that looks like he can go all night.
Guys are better off getting into kayaking, mountain biking etc

Typically, I think they prefer more feminine looking men.

Heartthrobs are normal Leonardo decaprio, Johnny Depp, any of those lads in all those boy bands or long haired, skinny rockstars.

I'm sure there are some women who find Arnie attractive, or dwane Johnson etc, but I typically they aren't seen as sex symbols

The responses from the previous guys and gals on here kinda shows you that it is guys that care more about muscle and appearance in general.

Just treat us nicely and cuddle us at night god dammit we don't need guys who can throw us across the room, maybe when humans lived in the wild it was beneficial but I would rather an intelligent guy who is bright than a big piece of muscle meat who can lift things that don't need to be lifted.

Because we're all just cavemen trapped in a modern world. Muscles are a visual indicator of strength. And as a cavewoman, a strong man is significantly more likely to be able to protect and provide than a weak man.

Muscles, also tend to co-relate with higher testosterone levels. And higher testosterone levels, especially in caveman days, co-related with higher social status, which further improves a womans chance of survival and of raising healthy offspring.
Muscles also tell you about someone health state and to an extent about their genetic quality.

It's just a stereotype that all women like men with big muscles. I don't. Bulging muscles are actually kind of gross for me. I like skinny guys. Athletic is good too as long as they're slim and elegant. Big weight lifters and overweight guys with big bellies are least attractive to me, but every woman is different. Just like some men like women with giant boobs and butts and others like the more slim type.

Honestly if they're too muscular it's VERY unattractive! Like in the picture, it doesn't look good! Also if a guy has distinctve muscles it's near that he does something for his body and cares about his health and body. Another fact may be that it's in our back of our minds from the stone age, where a muscular men could protect and feed the family so maybe that's why we get a little more attracted to those.
But nor ALL girls like that more that must be said!

I'm not into the bodybuilder type of body but a good amount of muscles and abs is very attractive though. It shows that the guy cares about his appearance and tries his best to stay fit and healthy. Also shows strength and who doesn't like a man who looks strong. And the feeling of muscles just feels nicer to the hands too compare to feeling fat or just bones.

I am very attracted to fit people because it shows health and that they take care of themselves so that's why it is for me.

It is a signal for male fertility which is linked to testosterone levels. Just like most men find women with large breast, large hips, large rear, and long hair appealing as there development are linked to female fertility. Not having any of this doesn't mean one isn't fertile or having does, but they signal sexual development which is the start of sex appeal. Like the saying goes you can't always get what you want. Women often enjoy the feel of muscles as well.

Here is what i learnt being a former bodybuilder. Muscles as well as other material shit only attract hoes. Real women seek normal non self absorbed guys who spend every minute thinking about carbs, protein and fat percentages... make sure you already have a decent women before you build muscles otherwise she'd be just non loyal as your gains lol
