Do guys even know that women indeed dress up for themselves at home and take cute pictures?

Men often say that if women dressed up for themselves then they would have dressed up at home.

The thing is, many of us actually do it. We just wanna see ourselves in different outfits, take pictures and keep them to ourselves. Sometimes we do show other people those pictures, and they are always our girl friends. Boys have no place in this.

That's not what we mean, but ok.
What we mean is waking up, and putting on a nice dress to wear at home, all day, every day.
That's what a person who claims they dress "for themselves" would do, all day, every day.

A person who "dresses up for themselves" would ignore all social dressing codes and social norms, and would feel nothing neither good or bad about what they are currently wearing, because, again, the perception of other people allegedly doesn't matter to them whatsoever.

Do you go outside in the things you wear at home without feeling negatively about it at all?

Actually, I do dress in ways that's more over-the-top and I don't care if I'm overdressed. When I started doing it initially some people would laugh at me but overtime I learned to pull it off.

At home, if mom didn't scold me then I wouldn't have a problem with letting them look.

Not that I've never been anywhere under-dressed. Sometimes it doesn't even look that bad and I was once praised by a guy on the one and only sweatshirt that I own, but I don't feel like myself in them no matter how trendy they are.

Yes, but only because I have a sister that does that. The conversation with her would usually go something like:

Me: Hey, outfit looks dope! Were you going?

Her: Here lol

I often times go out in my pajamas. I always say, I ain’t got no one to impress. And I don’t. I’m often too lazy to care to dress up.
Do I dress up if I’m going to see my one special guy? Of course.

Ok, I trust girls when they say they dress up to look attractive for their own sake not because they want guys' attention. It is a little hard for me to understand as a guy, but I believe that the way men and women think about things is generally different. I didn't know they did that at home, I thought they would just kick back, but I guess it makes sense.
