I was developing romantic feelings for a girl when she had to leave. We always had strong eye contact. We just got lost in each other’s stare.

I texted her saying, “I know I won’t get to see you until November. And I might only see you for a little bit. But if I could only see you one more time, see you smile, look into your eyes, it would be enough.❤️❣️”

It sounds like she does like you by saying it will be as you described.. the emoji is a person who is usually blushing so she does seem to like you as well. Take it slow though you dont want to scare her away. Continue to show her your interested but also give her her space

This girl expresses a lot with emojis and gifs. It’s all puzzling to me because I grew up without them and have no clue how to interpret them. I looked this emoji up, it says it’s a hugging emoji or a stay away emoji. No clue. The jajaja is consistent with her personality. She’s always excited to see me, and she’s always laughing, smiling, giggling.

Without context it seem awkward like you say, but she liked making strong eye contact with me. I could stare into her eyes and smile and get her to do the same.
