I was having a text convo with a friend of mine who I've secretly had a crush on for a while. The text convo was great, fun and both of us were engaged in the convo through out. It went from 7pm to midnight. Towards the end I wrote, " I think I had a crush on you back then." He replied with this emoji: 😌. I then said, "See, no blue eyes😉" (this is because he thought my preference was for guys with blue eyes). He then responded with, "Lucky me😉."
How would you interpret this? Its not like he said he liked me too. We are friends and never made any moves on eachother. What was the first emoji about? And does lucky me mean he likes me too?

Well it definitely sounds flirtatious, so he may like you but you made it sound like you don't have a crush on him anymore by saying "I think I had a crush on you back then," instead of telling him that you like him now, so he may not want to straight up tell you he likes you if he thinks you're over it

it's hard to tell from messages. It depends how often he replies and that though and cos he said "lucky me" that might mean that he likes u I don't know

it kinda depends how he is around u in real life.
