I have been wanting to tell her I love her for 3 years now. I finally did and she said she also feels the same but was afraid to tell me. She said she loves me too

All that is good but now what? it seems like things have become weird between us and I don't know what the next thing should be

Talk to her and establish what exactly is your current relationship is now. Are you guys dating, exclusive, just two people with feelings... etc.

People don't always have the same line of thought. She may be polyamorous or she may be someone who doesn't like label or she may be loving you as a family... etc.

Communication is key. The longer you wait the more it might get weird. GL
