Why don’t girls approach men they like?

Serious question, women almost never approach men. Why? How come women don’t and what’s the honest That stops one from asking out a guy they like?

If women did this more often trust me they’d get with much better looking men and they’d have a lot of success.

also I know some girls might think guys will think they’re desperate or easy. Not true not at all. If a man thinks that it’s few and far between and forget him.

Increasingly, they do- it's still very much a game played by the rules of the past, but that's changing, if not as fast as some would like. But they're socialized not to: almost from birth, little girls are told that they are the humans that ARE, rather than the humans that DO, and they should act accordingly; that the role of a woman is to attract a man, who will make a move on her. Fortunately, a number of women have enough of their fathers in them to say "nuts to that" and do otherwise.

It's not just socialization, though; that's built atop a solid layer of instinct. Take enough risks and sooner or later you fail; fail enough times and sooner or later you die. Women are neurologically more risk-averse than men; they can overcome this, but few do. This is a big part of why the ends of pretty every spectrum of human experience you can care to name are majority to vast majority male: less risk means less reward. And getting rejected still sucks.

The days of getting torn apart by lions are all but over, though, and egalitarianism is as fine an ideal as ever I've heard, so yes, women should ask out men they're interested in more.

Honestly I'm one of the few that ask a the guy they like to go out on a date and honestly it's not that bad you ether know he likes you back or you know it wasn't meant to be🤷
But I think must girls are afraid to be turned down

Maybe because women you know don't have what it takes. Yeah I'm young but I take my risks & I grow from them I got nothing to loose anyways.
If I see someone I wanna talk to I do it.
