Do guys care about what car you drive?

I am a university student and I drive a 1996 Toyota Corolla. My grandmother gave me the car when she died as a thank you for taking care of her when she had cancer. I am always insecure about what people will think about the car just because of the fact that it is old. I love driving the car it is so easy. (Except for the fact that it has no power steering but hey I get a good arm workout from it). My question is do guys care about what kind of car you drive. I've been talking with this guy for a few weeks and he really wants to meet up but my anxiety about him not liking my car and then not liking me is stopping me from meeting him. I know it sound stupid believe me I feel stupid for thinking like this.

If a man knows anything about cars he should know your Toyota is a well made vehicle lol I personally don't care what car someone drives. I make a good living but my car is an old junker and I love it.

Why are you worried... if a man thinks you have a shit car then he can buy you another, shut up until he affords his own car or just grow up abit.

It has a lovely story to it.. and its gets you from A to B so don't worry

as an automotive engineer i have to drive a mercedes... nothing to do with status or trying to show off... they just make the best cars
