My close female friend Friendzoned me, gets upset when I ignore her on social media, why?

My close friend Friendzoned me when I asked her out. She says she has no romantic interest in me.
I have been connected to her on social media for some time, however she pretends like i don't exist saying stuff like "do u have Instagram?" (Even though I have been following her for months), recently I just started ignoring her on social media (no more likes or complements), I am still nice to her IRL. I have noticed that she gets upset at me whenever I ignore her stuff on social media (I can overhear her complaining to her friends indirectly).
Also I was just doing this to test her reaction. Why would she be bothered if I ignore her in social media if she has no interest in me. I don't think I would give a rat's ass if a girl ignores me or not unless I like her. Is she just enjoying the attention I am giving her?
