Girl talks to me, then disappears for months at a time?

Met this girl from a different country, we talked for a while and got a liking to each other, but she has this weird habit where she just disappears for months at a time and then comes back and she's so happy to talk to me again, we've admitted feelings for each other and want to visit each other, she insists on visiting me, but I just don't quite get what her deal is, I do really like her but her behavior baffles me

Most likely scenario in my opinion: She just isn't that into you and/or already is in a relationship or talking to someone else more important, and using you as a backup.

You should tell her how you feel and how it bothers you. Like it feels like random ghosting is really rude if you know you haven' done anything wrong and you guys were having a good conversation/time.

If you recently told each other how you guys feel and you mutually both like each other to go to a serious relationship, that's good news. But keep your guard up. Keep talking to her and hang out with her. Maybe it won't' happen anymore. But if she just ghosts you again, cut the cord man. It's a waste of time
