i think it is related cause shy people are afraid of making mistakes in their behavior in front of people, so they like everything to be perfect, even in other things that have nothing to do with acting in public,

Trending & News actually make sense, I always try my best to say all the right "words" and do all the right "actions". If someone treated me badly,I always think I'm the one to blame. It must have been something I have done wrong in the past that made them treat me that way. sadly, that's not always the case.
By the way, love your profile picture. :)
I grew up with an older sister who was bad in front of my parents, I took on the role of the good one; people pleaser. I was punished (yelled/hit) for making mistakes like spilling, dropping, breaking things by accident; so, I was on edge. I felt like I was doing something wrong and no one told me why or what I did; so I guessed, and tried to do things right. This became a problem in relationships. I was a push-over. I didn't stand up for myself. I didn't know who I was. People played on that.
Somewhat, I'm pretty shy and like to make sure everything is perfect but at the same time I have days when I don't really care since I figure I'm shy enough no one will remember my mistakes either lol.
That makes sense to me... I'm shy (depending on how well you know me), and I like for the things I do to be perfect.
Sort of,
They overthink what they might say or won't say anything at all if they think it might be considered weird
But, I'm shy so I know that we aren't perfectionists as we don't do what might be perfect at the time and just chicken out, we have flawsin our shyness which override our perfectionism(is that a word?)
No I don't think that is true at all, I know a few perfectionists and they aren't shy. If something isn't perfect in their mind, they speak up and either tell someone to do it their way or they do it themselves.

Yes. Because a perfectionist is a harsh critic of him/herself as well as of others, leading to both shyness and disinterest.
Very interesting, I think in some cases this makes perfect sense but it depends on why the person is seen as shy.
I get what you mean because this applies to me. Very shy, very perfectionist. I have to do it really well, just right.
I think a lot of the time outgoing people's perfectionism is control based whilst shy people's is fear based.
I do understand what you mean with this I suppose it is true.
Could be, but I don't think so.
Hmm...maybe
