But with most things not at all.. I think this attitude just leads to disappointmenf , and for sure you don't want to be that way in Thailand.

Yes, to the point that I may start several projects, take much longer than initially planned and leave them on hold for way too long. Sounds contradictary, but it isn't really.

I'm trying to see the whole picture and at the same time pay attention to the smallest details.

As you can probably appreciate with my line of employment you need to be over and above being a perfectionist... In many ways, over the years, this has slowly crept into my normal everyday life.

No, I learned a long time ago that perfection can never be achieved. That doesn't mean we settle for not trying our best, poor workmanship or whatever. It simply means that we accept things that are less than perfect.

Yes, but I find perfection in things like art, literature, music, technology, lifestyles, and nature.

Its a very attainable thing that doesn't require the anal ocd attentiveness that it gets lumped in with so often.
