Why is the mentality of women that dress like that risking their safety? How are they risking their safety by dressing the way they feel comfortable and exposing a little more on the hot summer then the winter. I feel that they are not putting themselves at risk by dressing the way they do. I feel that women dressing a certain way doesn't give anyone an excuse to harm a woman in any way and it shouldn't be. For people to say that a woman is putting herself at risk just because she is dressed a certain way is continuing to perpetuate a socially accepted reason to let her be assaulted. There is never ever a good reason to assault someone. Dont perpetuate an excuse for something that is wrong and illegal. Do you know that most sexual assaults are done by the someone the victim actually knows in their lives?

because it's hot as fuck outside and humid, i hate sweating and my clothes sticking. but i wouldn't wear those type of shorts those are way to short.
but you'll catch me walking with a sports bra around my house and tanky outside with some form of shorter pants wear.
I suppose it's as good an excuse as any. One of my favorite hot weather looks is a bikini top & shorts but mine aren't quite that short. I've seen gay men wearing shorts that short but not straight guys.
A point worth mentioning is that in my country women are pretty much free to dress as they choose & don't owe anyone an explanation, & it does not give others license to get out of line in their behavior.
