Why do women suddenly want to be naked (or almost) out in public nowadays?

not too long ago women always used to whine and complain about men staring at them in public because it made them feel "creeped out," sexually objectified and a bunch of other accusations of theirs.

but now all of the sudden it seems like its the other way around. almost all woman nowadays wants to go out and be at least half naked out in public especially in public places like the gym and then still complain and act like victims when they tell they get told they're not allow to dress like that in those vicinities

what exactly made the tables turn so fast?

For as long as I can remember there have always been women and some men too, who like show off there bodies. And there is nothing wrong with that! I mean I understand dress codes (as long as they're not sexist) but if it's ok, slay queen! Personally I like to show off sometimes, I like to feel hot, and not feel hot in the summer XD, but that doesn't give men permission to creep on me. But to be honest most women I see dress relatively modestly, and same with men.

And like why are you complaining? If i want to wear a crop top, that doesn't effect you, and I don't need to justify it.

Attention and validation. What women hate more than to be sexually objectified is to not to be objectified. Most men don't give a crap anymore what women wear to the gym but it's definitely evident in women's gym gear especially among female athletes, male athletes are wearing shorts an shirts that don't affect their performance while the women wear skimpy shorts that ride up their butt crack and a sports bra.

I think it is a range of factors. While some women hate being objectified, others desperately want to be objectified. Others crave the validation that comes from being observed as eye candy. Others find that creepy. Some do it just to prove the feminist, women-power right and entitlemwnt they feel. Others do it because they are simply accommodating the wishes or interests of a boyfriend or significant other who wants them to appear sexy. Some do it to overcome a sense of body shame. Others are simply vain people, and they are sort of in love with themselves: they like the look of their own nakedness. Others do it because they are impressionable and easily succumb to trends and fashion advertisement. All of them that do it might be the nicest, most sincere, thoughtful people you'll ever meet; or they could be self-absorbed, arrogant, mouthy not-nice girls. Most don't like to be judged. Some deserce to be judged. Almost all of them will be judged whether they like it or not.
