Working at fast food as a teenage girl, I learned that most guys cannot help but notice if I wore leggings or the like. It's just going to happen, so either I could just not wear something that caught their attention, or keep doing it. Personally, I don't mind men staring or even complimenting, so long as they don't touch me or otherwise make it personal. Just look at me like an object if it makes you put a better review on the store or buy something more.

For my man, I will wear more revealing things because I want him to look at me in a sexual way. Just so happens he wants me to go with him to a store. Doesn't matter even that he's there, men will look at the short-shorts I wore. I understand it, even I look at other women and tell my co-workers about her tits hanging out if they're worth mentioning. Some girls bask in the attention. I just hope the guy staring at me while I do my tasks at work doesn't ask or say something personal.

I think someone needs to tell you this thing about men, and no, I obviously can't speak for ALL men, so this is one of those "bell curve statements". Like it or not, when a hormonally active man looks at you, you're already "objectified" whether you like it or not !! The difference in "bad behavior", "acceptable behavior" or "good behavior" is what he chooses to do and/or say about it.

So if you "despise" being objectified, you'll have to change the wiring in about 90% of the male population, or change the way they are taught from birth to view women. I doubt either of those will happen anytime soon. The younger you are, the moment 90% of men lay eyes on you, that's what they're doing, whether you can tell or not. Enjoy that realization. :-D
