I think it has made some men scared, or overly concerned, about approaching us, because they are worried about being accused of something, but I don't know if I would say that it has been "ruined."
There's also other factors at play, so it's not a singular cause and effect deal.
I don't think there's a blanket "don't approach women" attitude amongst men. However, the necessity of approaching women in the real world has been vastly reduced by the use of online dating. Also, the potential cost of the most likely approaches--people you see every day including in many cases work colleagues--has gone way up. So it's not like the men at work aren't approaching women anymore. They are--just not at work. And for some girls that's a bit of a problem, because there may have been a lot of good candidates for them at work who are now getting it on elsewhere.

Guys are getting tired of approaching girls, because of backlash, BS, fear of rejection and high standards, long lists of requirements and more. It's on the decline but can still happen.
