Of course harassment happens. But any guy who has went undercover as a pink account knows it's not as rampant as many women claim. So why do you think so many women overhype it to be exponentially bigger than it actually is? What do these women get out of pushing this narrative? Because men are conditioned to accept things like harassment or other forms of abuse. Men just expect it more from woman, and we never really complain about it in the same ways as woman, because nobody gives a shit about how men feel.
Even undercover with a pink account, you're still a man so your prospective on what you think is harassment compared to an insecure woman is completely different. Yes, even as an undercover pink account, you are still not an insecure woman.
Simple truth is this, woman have been conditioned by society that they do not have to accept responsibility for their decisions or choices when there is a man readily available to blame. And men just accept that on some levels, because when we speak out, we are accused of being insensitive, possessive, controlling or manipulative. Like woman are not all these things themselves, but society in general is more forgiving and accepting of woman in this regard.
Because let's be honest, one man to another, men know what they are dealing with and take responsibility for it more times than not, when honestly, we really shouldn't. I don't see girls claiming to get 100 dics pics a day, but yes, that seems like an overexaggeration. I guess they want attention, or perhaps they want to make it seem like most men on here are that pitiful.

My guess is the same reason women post as blue accounts. They want to see how the other side lives. There can be millions of reasons ranging from innocent to troll-ish.
