sometimes it hurts my feelings. if im talking about something important to me and im told to shut up, it makes me feel like whoever told me to shut up doesn't respect and care about me. but if someone tells me that they can understand where im coming from and why I feel the way I do and that they will seriously consider and think about what im saying, I will immediately shut up on my own. its more effective and its a lot nicer.

If he tells me to shut up, it’s because he has asked me to stop nicely several times, sometimes I get too hard headed and feel like I haven’t been able to adequately express my thoughts, however most of the time I would save a lot of headache if I listened the first time every time. I’m not perfect, but I certainly don’t like putting him in a fowl mood by not listening. I’m happiest when he’s happy.
