The problem is we don’t what each other’s needs because we think we are the same. Women might need affection but a guy wouldn’t be affectionate to someone who can pay for her own date. Or open her own car door.

I find it interesting as a case study of abstract contagions. It’s not a physical virus, yet it has a transmission rate, it has reproduction mechanisms, it evolves, mechanisms that aren’t as effective at propagating the virus are evolved out through natural selection. It compromises the host immune system, but also fights off things that want to occupy the same mental real estate. Fascinating stuff.

There is literally noting positive about today's feminism. There hasn't been for a long time. The movement was a positive force decades ago when western women actually faces discrimination and oppression, but today's women in the west are literally the most privileged and entitled people in human history. Modern feminism is nothing but a hate movement.

I think the #MeToo movement was great in addressing casual sexual harrassment and bringing to light that womens boundaries are often ignored! But awareness can only get so far... without systematic change and education, its just depressing hearing about all these rapists and perverts get away with anything.
