If a girl keyed you car, why would you still go back to her?

wouldnt you be scared of pissing her off again? or is keyeing someones car really not a big deal? Anyway, a friend of mine found her boyfriend cheating, so she keyed his car. he cuzzed her out, called her names, etc etc etc. it was brutal. Then 4 months later he wants to see her? And she is stupid enough to go back to him AGAIN. They saw each other, she said she didn't sex him (which is hard to believe) and then he hasn't called her for a few days...whats this guys motive?

It's probably less of dating her than it is just having sex with her. You even say you find it hard to believe she didn't. He is merely playing with her emotions, it doesn't matter what she did, he only wants what he wants from her. Her keying his car is just a reason for him to feel special because she cares enough about him to do something about it when he cheats. It's probably a thrill for him to have two girls fighting for him. If I were her I would stop wasting my time and energy on this loser and find a great guy worth fighting for. The question should really be, why is this girl going back to this loser? :P

Hey some people have very tumultuous relationships and lives and they like that kind of craziness. I mean, come on, the guy cheated on her. They are both over the top in their behaviors.

Beyond that, its not like the two of them are in a relationship again. He obviously wanted something enough that it overcame any concern about what she might do to his car again. He probably booty called her.

They both obviously have some sort of strong attraction to each other and attraction is NOT based on common sense or logic. It is totally an emotional response that defies logic in some cases, like this. However, attraction and emotion is not enough to carry a relationship, just enough to keep people in contact randomly or back and forth with each other until finally the bad outweighs the attraction or the attraction ends.

Well, I am 48, so I know it can happen but not until something significant intervenes. Sometimes people let themselves go, or they meet someone else that trumps the psycho they are with, or they simply mature and tire of this, but a year is not enough to typically snuff out a flame like this. It could take years. Question: What is your interest in this? Is their drama impacting you?

yes! its annoying. one day she calls me all happy he texted her, believes he likes her just because he is coming back. then she is depressed for days/weeks/ MONTHS! untill he comes back around. he controls her life. I love her, but I loosing respect for her, but also she does have a point. HE DOES COME BACK, so maybe he DOEs like her?

Yes, it is hard maintaining a friendship where your friend is constantly on either a high or a low based on a dysfunctional relationship. Look deeper though, your friend obviously has some big issues if she wants the "love" of a guy who treated her like this and even now is not calling her after their last get together. She may be someone you will have trouble enjoying a friendship with.

Neither of them honestly sound well. He shouldn't have cheated, but then again, she shouldn't have keyed his car (this was really the more stupid decision of the two, because she COULD be prosecuted for it).

We don't really know enough about the people or the situation to really give you a solid answer, BUT... it sounds like he was just trying to come back to get some kind of play.

First off, there are a bunch of things wrong with your story. The biggest of which isn't that she keyed his car, but that he cheated and she took him back.

Now, to answer your question about the car keying, no, I would not. I don't believe that a woman who would do such a thing, even when wronged, is mature enough to be relationship material. I would insist on the kind of woman who would take the high road and act with dignity and maturity.

Depends on which car (yes, I have different feelings). If it's my daily driver which is all I have at the moment, then I'd be calling and filing a police report no question. If it were one of my beloved cars, then I'd close to literally kill her. I don't care how I sound with that, but I hardly let people even TOUCH my car. So if she got ballsy enough to key my car, that would be it. Realistically I'd have to hold myself back from completely destroying something that she holds close to her and feel no remorse over it. But I'd still go to the police and would have no mercy pressing charges, making her life as much hell as I could.

Lesson: Even in terrible circumstances, don't act emotional and immature to do something like that. He cheated on her and it's understandable that she is really upset. But keying someone's car? Come on, grow up and get over it. Don't waste so much time and energy on someone that obviously didn't care about you. That sh*t is stupid.
