I have a friend who is trans I went to culinary school with someone who ended up transitioning One of my bfs best friends who has pretty much always dressed feminine (wore skirts and dresses often, makeup etc) has come out last week as a woman.
i’ve met a few trans people. they’ve all been friendly and i don’t think they’re bad people but i genuinely think they have mental problems 🤷♂️ gender dysphoria is real, just like body dysphoria.
I've encountered a few, more so today than when I was younger. In fact one of my clerk's classifies herself as trans, and her girlfriend (male to female) is also trans though hasn't gone through the procedure.
I worked in an office with a person for a couple of years who I assumed was a man until one day she showed dressed as a woman. She never discussed any of that with with me or anybody I knew.
I am good friends with a few transgendered women - and they have shared how growing up they experienced some "confusion". But from when I met them, they were beyond that phase.
nope. i only ever met someone in some discord chat. but that doesn't count as "real life". i know a few people who were sort of confused about their sexuality but not their gender.
@t-8900, Ah, gotcha. I had one friend from high school come out and change their name. I disassociated from pretty much my whole class after a couple of years so I don’t know what happened. I think I’d have a hard time being friends with someone before and after. If I met them after it wouldn’t be so awkward.
I've seen a few trannies in the nightlife if that counts, But I didn't interact with any. I generally do not have mentally instable people in my circle of friends.

Nah. Here you'd almost never find an odd person. People are straight, monogamous, identify with their gender, not to mention boring
I think I’ll post this question on one of my gaming forums

I met guy who behaved and talked like a girl. It was weird to be honest, he was touchy too. I felt uncomfortable with him.
I understand

I have, it's more common some places than others. Figuring out who you are can take a hot minute for some people
I have not met any, I have a friend that is flaming gay, he likes to cross dress and do fashion shows But at the end of the day he's still a dude
No but that's a really good question. But you do mean gender and not sex right?
I do mean gender
Okay then yes I have.
Cool 😊

Yeah I grew up around 3 women who decided to get gender reassignment to become "men".
As in a group of friends? How’d that work out?
@DarkWinterNights they werent associated with one another. and yeah afterwards we become more distant. it was a bit weird for me.

I knew a dude who thought he was gay but then he later turned trans. So I guess he was confused at the time.
I've seen a few people who were not right about their gender and kind of made me wonder
just one time at a large music venue a guy dressed and made up like a women, I wasn't introduced but we did speak a few words

No.
However I'm not an encouraging person for talks about topics like that.
I have a classmate who is non-binary, but I don't really know much about her.
