Have you ever caught feelings for the same gender?

I'm a straight female... perhaps this was a phase I've been through a few months ago- but I began having an interest in the idea of other girls for some reason. I suppose I was a little bi-curious and wanted to see what it would be like to experiment with or engage in a relationship with a woman. I've never physically done anything of that nature however, but I do remember having girl crushes around this time. Is this phase normal? Have you ever felt connected romantically or platonically to the same gender at any time as well?

Nah. I just call them girl crushes. Their just awesome people. I don't think your gay or bi unless you act on them. For the most part it's normal to be curious and fantasize about it. Grown women still think about this subject. You can be open to both genders sexually, but only like one romantically. I mean we have porn stars, people who have sex with both genders, but do not consider themselves gay.

Because sex can be a means to an end, not the actual package deal. If they hit your button in the right way then it shouldn't matter. Adding a label where it doesn't need to be just adds unneeded stress.

I’m straight and I’ve honestly never had emotional or sexual feelings for the same gender before but I know some people can feel curious (usually teenage years) but I don’t think it means you’re bi unless you actually act on it or want to pursue it.. I knew people growing up who were confused about there sexuality for a while until they experimented and realized they were or weren’t what they thought lol

You are right! ♡ I actually used to label myself at the time as "bi", but it confused me because I would only feel myself attracted to masculine girls, or tomboys. It was very weird and I felt that I wasn't quite attracted to women but to the idea of experiment or women that dressed or acted like guys. 😭

I should have not identified as straight or bi, because I truly don't want to be labeled and plus I wasn't really sure what I could be defined as.

@PrincessPie So sorry for the delay! But I am not attracted to girls anymore but if I were to be, then it would be the more laid back and tomboyish girls. Usually when I see a girl that isn't quite over-doing it but is very laid back and tomboyish, then I would somehow admire them in a sense but it's probably because I'm so attracted to masculinity in general, whether in a man or woman. But since masculine traits essentially derive from men, I suppose I am straight and not bi-curious because I'm not attracted to femininity or the female body, even though I'm a totally feminine girl. Lol!

Yeah I've been a little bi curious but I have never acted on it.
Girls are sometimes just so pretty and nice.
But I'm straight I think, I only had relationships with guys, kissed guys, had crushes on guys.

By DEFINITION, straight people do not catch feelings for the same gender. If you do, your are NOT STRAIGHT.
