Is she Interested or am I overthinking?

Last month I send an email to my crush since I didn’t have a way to contact her. I decide to use the school email and contact her.
students at my university barely check the school email. I was one of them until my junior year.
Anyways, she replied to me yesterday and she told me that she isn’t currently living at campus and that she is hoping that I’m doing well and then an smile face.
I know I shouldn’t overthink, but the thing as far as I know is that when girl aren’t interested they wouldn’t reply to someone they aren’t interested less likely if it is through email.
I just want to know what you guys think and get some advice if possible?

Her response is very generic, not enough to say that she’s even interested. To which I’d say to ask her out or ask for her social media, then you can tell her how you feel. Because we could sit here and speculate all day but none of it is a factual answer unless it comes directly from her.

She was just beings nice replying to your email, she wouldn’t just ignore it if she knows you personally, even if she doesn’t that answer doesn’t mean much.

Yeah, I had talked to her before. We met before Covid happened and after that we haven’t see each other. My email was basically telling her that it was me The guy you met at “A” place. Then I got that response

She was probably being nice. The conversation is pretty simple on both sides and to be honest, doesn’t show much interest from either of you. You haven’t asked anything, she hasn’t asked you anything. It is all just small talk. Just ask her out. Find some event she might be interested in and tell her you want to take her there. And when communicating, use questions. Those “require” reply and you can get the picture about her interest from the enthusiasm of her answers and the fact whether or not she asks you questions. But definitely go for the in-person date.
