Could she be interested? Or am I misreading something?

I moved to a different state about a month and a half ago to finish school. The last thing I was expecting was for a fellow student to catch my eye. For a couple of weeks we would make eye contact when one of us walked into the same room, or when walking by each other. Earlier this week, I decided I'd have to find out for myself if I was just imagining things.

I saw her working at a table by herself in our program's lab. After very stupidly popping a blister on my right index finger, I realized I was going to need to cover it up with something in order to complete my tasks and get my grade for the day. I already knew where the first aid kit was, but I decided I'd ask her anyway, just to see her reaction. Upon asking her, she turned around, and before she could say anything, my dumbass, chickened out and said "oh, never mind, I see it." I felt that was a mistake, and that I had to right it if I wanted to get anywhere.

Two days later, I saw her again in the same spot and decided I had to try again. I approached her and began by asking her about the course she's currently taking at the time I'm posting this, as it's my next course.

For the first two-ish minutes of the conversation, she went about her work and talked about the course for a bit while minding her work. She then stopped, asked me what time it was, and organized her belongings once I answered her, before coming back to talk to me. She went into even more detail this time, was fully facing me, and we even made eye contact for a few seconds at a time. I eventually had to politely cut the conversation short because I had to be somewhere, and thanked her for her time. Am I reading too much into this?

Could she be interested? Or am I misreading something?
