I've seen several post about this topic but I'll try to explain my situation.
There is a girl at my work that have been looking at me several months ago in common areas such as the cafeteria or corridors of the offices. When she is surrounded by her friends, they sometimes look towards me (usually laughing, I do not think evilly). When I started to be aware of this, I looked at her and she usually blushed and smile. She is very very very (very ad infinitum) shy, I think this makes her behave awkwardly sometimes. One day I was in a seminar solving a problem and she come into the place because there is a fountain. I was very absorbed in a mathematical problem and I asked her for help. She blushed very hard and she tried to but she was in a hurry and she told me she couldn't help me at that moment. The next day she looked for me and give me some clues about the problem, it seemed that she thought about the problem. I was very surprised. As the weeks have passed she has turned to look at me in a nervous-smiling way to a more serious way, but the intensity of her gaze is the same. I think I know what it is all about but I do not feel comfortable at work with these issues. In no case have I tried to misbehave or have a misunderstanding... but I have been very dull trying to talk with her. I would like to know each other but I do not know how to address this problem. What would you do? Thank you
