The time for birth arrives and other scans etc.

That sounds like bliss, but it also depends on the partnership. I have been 3 times and now a fourth. I knew what I was signing up for but the last two I was on two different birth controls that failed to keep me from pregnancy.

There are many, many different methods a woman can use to prevent pregnancy. Start with your own body, then don't fuck him without a condom and get him out before ejaculation. And if you're really worried, a girl can take the Plan B pill within 12 hours of sex and that alone is 95% effective.

Female birth control, like the "pill" or other implants, can be up to 99% effective by themselves (presuming you don't forget to take it every single day). If you do and the effectiveness drops to 91 or 92%, that combined with a condom and him not cumming while inside you, is still very effective. The idea that a woman gets "stuck" with an unwanted baby has more to do with a lack of preparation or afterthought. There's still the option to terminate the pregnancy.

I have to highlight what men should consider before impregnating a woman. A man pays for child support even if it's not his child just because a mother said so, they're expected to pay for the hospital bills and other pregnancy and child care products also expected to provide. Guys don't get a say if she chose to abort the fetus. Guys often lose on child custody. Girls have the choice to opt out of parenthood and give it to the father whos paying for the child support. A guy loses 1/3 of his money and given to the wife during a divorce while still paying for child support. Can also get arrested if he loses everything because he failed to pay for child support and more. But really this is more of a counter argument to your claim. If women are just gonna complain about how they can suffer from pregnancy while men don't, who the hell is even forcing them to get pregnant? In fact, it's even easier for women to adopt so why not adopt?

I don't think men should be resented for things they can't change. But even aside from that it seems petty; I think the responsibilities of having a child far extend the act of simply conceiving and birthing it.

On top of that, I don't want to be an alimony slave with no custody for the rest of my life. Heck even a DNA test isn't enough to escape alimony, I won't go near a woman unless I firmly trust them not to tyrannise me with the law. My father got screwed over really badly. So no, I don't exactly find it "easy".
