This is a hard one, only because I've never felt the need to express this ever. But, that's exactly why I will try and explain what "I" consider feminine qualities, which doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be a global view shared by all men.

I feel, femininity can be considered a type of 'force' a woman projects. It could be in the way a woman wears an outfit, the way she walks, how she does her hair, the way she smiles or not, even the way she talks, or all of it together. Essentially, a projection so confident, so 'feminine', that she walks in to a room and every guys has no choice but to give her their attention. It's an energy that fills the room. It can be so powerful that it's intoxicating to a degree for many, almost like a high and you can't think straight but you know you want more of it. This force can make the simplest man, of any shape and size, 'feel' like they are the most powerful man in the universe.

It's something that's been weaponized successfully, in a way, to make men content in draining their wallets at many strip clubs and by some women all around the world for selfish interests.

Some women have a hard time successfully employing their femininity and some others instead choose to focus their energy into what's colloquially considered the "modern faux-feminist movement". In my opinion and experience though, these women tend to be in the younger age bracket and have yet to experience much of the world or are women that have, unfortunately, experienced hard lives.

In my opinion, I feel many women don't truly understand the power, or the value, of their femininity and what they can truly achieve.

The only kind of women that appeal to me are those who look and act feminine.
What does it mean to look and act feminine?

Her skin is silky smooth and looks delicate. It's not defiled with tattoos. She's fit and flexible but not lean or muscular. Her flesh is soft and tender. She has proud boobies (size doesn't matter) and feminine curves. Her hair is shiny and cut in a flattering style. She has delicate hands and feet, and her nails are manicured and polished. She usually wears a bit of makeup, but it's understated. She can accentuate her eyes and lips and make her face glow without looking obvious. Her taste in clothing, jewelry and accessories accentuates her sexy femininity, but doesn't look cheap or trashy. She has excellent posture

She is confident, but polite and a bit demure. She's not loud, crass or confrontational. She has a radiant smile.

She likes playing the lady/gentleman game and pretending to be fragile, even though she is perfectly capable of taking care of herself. She enjoys feeling safe and secure with her man and being cared for.

Of course, she is heterosexual and loves men. Her body is erogenous, and she loves sex.

I like when a girl is 'medium-feminine'. Let's just say that if I were to describe what I'm looking for in a woman the word "feminine" wouldn't ever be a part of that. That being said, I'm not into like the tomboy type at all. Somewhere in the middle. I think that guys who specifically like feminine girls are more likely to be ones who themselves believe in more traditional gender roles (man is the head of the household yadda yadda yadda).

So personally, making yourself more feminine would not be the way to increase my attraction to a particular girl. It's not really something I think about. Although I do sort of "expect" a certain level of femininity (which nearly all women have) or I am not going to be attracted to someone.

As for what feminine means? That's a huge question with varied answers, many of them rooted in gender-role tradition. So at the extreme feminine is: submissive, quiet, reserved, pretty, delicate, etc etc. To be honest, you have as good a grasp on what men mean by 'feminine' as anyone else. It's "girly". The same thing you think of when you think "feminine".

1. Women are most feminine mentally when she is herself and not someone she isn’t truly. It is her being free to think and function like a woman mentally without being accused of seemingly week, or too emotional, or inferior in any other way. Women are mentally wired different than men and need to not be stigmatized for being how they truly are wired and designed to function.

2. Women are most feminine physically when they are willing to let go of and reject all they are told they should do to their bodies by pop fashion, esthetics trends, and porn. That means that they embrace their body in a natural state and stop caking on 10 tons of makeup, stop with plucking their thick beautiful eyebrows and drawing on fake ones instead, stop butchering themselves with cosmetic surgeries and labia plastic surgery, stop removing their (bush) pubic hair believing it somehow makes them “cleaner” when in fact the hair being removed is there to do just that by making it cleaner as well as make them look feminine and sexually mature, and the list goes on.

Just be a natural and confident women in your own skin that you were created with, untouched.

When she is elegant in her behaviour. That means the way she walks, it needs to be graceful and not manly. The way she sits also needs to be feminine, she cannot sit and walk like a complete sloth. She needs to have table manners and etiquette whilst eating. That means feminine and classy women hold their glass very differently, the way you hold your cuttlery etc... needs to be polished. Her giggle needs to be soft and feminine and not loud and boisterous. Slow and graceful movements are required for femininity.

The way she dresses is a must: NO MASCULINE clothes trends. That means street trends are forbidden. No trainers unless you’re at the gym or cycling. No oversized clothing. You wear elegant materials like cashmere and silk and you wear elegant colours like neutrals, soft pink and red but in good materials.

Your hair needs to be always clean and tidy and kept out of your face. Your makeup needs to be flawless and your foundation must match perfectly. It helps also if you go the extra mile and painf your nails however if they’re not painted at least keep them clean and shaped.

Last but not least: staying in shape. Make sure you are in the best shape possible.

See, certain things are expected from a boy and a girl right? Freedom cannot be unconditional freedom.

I like girls that are able to take their own stand and in my case, a girl who is able to come forward first to speak or anything. Be super vocal, in short.

In my view, a girl is feminine when-

1. She just gossips a lot. Guys gossip too, but unless very much required do not share personal stuff. Through my firsthand experience, I have seen that girls do talk about personal stuff. That is not acceptable. Just to point out, good guys respect girls privacy.

2. She does those nonsense looks. Puppy, pouting, whining looks. Why? You are a grownup, we expect you to act like a grownup. Even if some guys may like it, I do not, seriously.

3. Extra loud in public spaces. You must have come across such girls. Very irritating. Girls have high pitched voice in general, and that makes it worse.

4. Being unnecessarily moody. Not that it is a problem. Can be understood sometimes too. You are taking someone else's anger on me, totally understandable. But what is not fine is being moody about things we are clearly able to see are perfectly fine. And upon that, not giving reasons about your mood. We are understandable, we expect you to be understandable. To be mature, in short.

You are older than me. Some of my points may be wrong or unacceptable. I just said all these things based on my observations in public and in college.

I think so. But I also have a hard time grasping what feminine is so not really sure. I can tell you though I am unattracted to girls with muscles like they've been on steroids so there is that, and i cannot remember the name for it but girls who just even by looking at them they fit into a stereotypical oh there lesbian.

"If you gotta ask" what femininity is, it's probably unanswerable. I think a big part of it is that 'feminine" women genuinely like associating with guys, and that will dictate their behavior with men. Of course men like it when women are feminine. We crave it, especially today when there is such a dearth of femininity in the western world. Just keep in mind that femininity is about behavior, attitude and mindset, not about dressing sexy or showing your skin.

Feminine for me is highly attractive:

My perception of femininity is that they’re sexually attracted to men, and like men that are attracted to woman.

This sounds ridiculous, but we’re talking about the clearest female metric in terms of personality. I also find feminine girls are generally quite distinctly female in their hobbies and characters.

Yes I much prefer a feminine woman but the downside is they are usually much worse about communicating. They also are more skilled at pulling friendzone bs.
