Why does it seem like most girls I talk to play hard to get? I don’t understand the point of the game? And why is this so common?

I don’t mean to rant but it’s like at least half of women I talk to do this and it’s really not cute or entertaining at all. There is really not many things that turn me off more than this. It’s honestly one of the most annoying things and it’s gets old sooo fast.
