Why do you say she's not interested in you she's obviously interested in you or she would not be texting you after midnight when she's lying in the bed thinking about someone to snuggle up with and she thought of you have you asked her out yet? Here's a thought I seen this on Facebook the other day a guy she's a girl sitting on a beach he walks up to her and he holds his fist out like he want the fist bumper when she goes to fish buff and he turns his fist over and open up his hand and he's holding a... Condom.. such an easy way to ask your girl for sex isn't it without even saying a word he gets turned down three times but the fourth girl takes him up on it although I don't think that would be something to do to a friend that thinks about you although girls don't really have guy friends... You're a guy you know the women that your friends with in the back of your mind you're thinking someday I might get the chance to... Well if she's at a party she is surrounded by guys and people she wouldn't be bored enough to send you a text if she didn't like you I think if you played your car right or maybe just come right out and tell her that you like her... You do like it right if not all of this would be wasted... Of course you may have already told her that you liked her but as I was reading one of the girls replies she mentioned that girls are manipulative to get what they want... So our guys everyone that wants something from another person tries to come up with a way to get it go read some books on psychology I remember a girl had a tag on the front of her car it had her name written on it and I thought I want to teach her a lesson I didn't know the girl I walked up to her and I looked at her and I said ain't your name Kathy that was the name on the front of her car and she said yes I said when you had a date a month ago you remember you were supposed to come by and pick me up she was driving a Camaro in 10 minutes time I had her believing that we actually had a date I've never met the girl before in my life of course I can't clean and told her what I did and she immediately got out of the car and took her name off the front of her car it's all in the way you present yourself and you will be able to at least get one date out of her anyone I'm just trying to help don't cut yourself short unless and until you try everything that's available to you

Yes if its that late and she awake and feels the need to take you and say she's thinking of you... in my mind that means I am 80% of the way to hooking up with her. Or that she has some type of emotional need that she want me to fill... so it it still indicates I have a good chance to get laid, and if she's relationship material then its a good sign all round.

Same happened to me. She would call or text at like 3am, visit my office at work to tell me she was thinking about me the night before. I actually fell for her. Began doing things together, going to her place for dinner, taking her out. And when I told her I loved her, she freaked out and quit her job. We were just friends apparently

Wow. This definitely depends on the girl.
Some humans are manipulative and use these things to trap you emotionally (less likely but still) and other girls, like myself I must add, are probably falling in love with you and stay up thinking about beacuse even thoughts of you fill us with joy.
Or she could be too shy to say she loves/likes you and be saying it like this to see how you respond and see if you like her.

Well based on your replies to others, you've made it clear she's not interested in you.

So if I'm texting a platonic guy late at night, it's usually because something is on my mind and I need someone to vent/talk to, or I'm lonely and just looking for someone to keep me company. That's it. Don't read too much into it. She might have texted several people besides you and since you were up and replied, she decided to talk to you.

It seems weird but yeah... as I said, don't read into it. Girls just like having someone to talk to sometimes without any hidden meaning or agenda behind it. I know for a guy if they text us late at night it usually means: sex, something is wrong, or they really like us.
But women aren't that complicated (always, haha). If we like talking to you, we're going to reach out to you.

And fyi- I've had guy friends text and message me past midnight knowing damn well I'm asleep, but they leave messages to reply to in the morning. Nothing sexual... just random crap, memes, or messages. But they were nightowls so that might be different.
