Why did this girl ask me why don’t I speak to her?

At work a female colleague asked me why I don’t speak to her because she always sees me talking to the guys laughing and joking. She then said “it’s okay if you don’t like me.” Thought it was a bit weird considering not everybody speaks to everybody. Thoughts?

there could be many reasons. she could like you, or she might just feel bad about not having good relations with someone she works with, or she thought you might hate her... so hard to say
