Why does a girl keep staring at me? But doesn’t talk to me?

We’ve know each other for a while. She is known to be more shy and quieter I guess. I always catch her staring at me in class. But she rarely talks to me and when I do talk to her she answers short and seems somewhat interested in the conversation. Any help on what this could mean?

As a girl who used to do that in high school, I can say that she's probably interested in you. Also, generally, I don't think we stare that much into people that we don't find interesting (general or romantic way).

If you like her or think she's cool, talk to her. Or send her a text, maybe she's more comfortable with that - she'll most likely open up at some point if she sees that you're interested in being her friend (maybe more in the future). Just, try not to come off too strong, because she might feel a bit intimidated by you then.

Talk to her, become friends with her and then see where it's gonna take you.

Because 1 of2 reasons.
1. She's flirting with you. ( believe it or not most women are stupid enough to think this is zn obvious signal).
2. She's not flirting with you her staring is in your head and you're creating something that isn't there.

Now you can go over and talk to her and ask about her staring. But if she was staring she'll just lie to you play dumb because women aren't simple like that. You need to put yourself out there more. Make a comete fool of yourself. Then later she'll decide whether she was ever interested or not. This is why as a guy you should never be interested in just one woman. You should plant slot of seeds.
