Why does she talk about that she wants to introduce herself to him?

I’ve been talking a guy for some time now. We haven’t gone on a date yet. He’s very nice and seems to like to talk to me. I’m at a point where I want to make my feelibgs clear to him (I like him). My female cousin knows that I really like him. My crush is really handsome by the way.

when she sees in him public she talks to me how “she wanted to go up to him and introduce herself as my cousin etc”.
I told her that it would be weird since we aren’t even dating and official. I don't know if she’s envious that we are texting and getting to know each other.

I wouldn't worry about that. If he is interested in you than it doesn't matter who she is or isn't. Also, she might be wanting to introduce herself as a way to show him and you that she is potential positive support for the situation.
Be true to yourself and things will fall into place. Everything happens for a reason.

I have had many situations where I could have stole a girlfriend from a friend or could have hooked up with friends girlfriend but didn't. It can be overwhelming. I would suggest taking a deep breath and talk to your cousin about it. Express your feelings and listen to hers. Wouldn't want to get hurt by him or her. It might be time to talk it out and see if it's worth pursuing him or passing
