Do women appreciate men that have a steady job?

Well that depends? Using myself as an example, I generally don't look for partners who are too different from me. A guy who is chronically switching jobs and suffering bouts of unemployment would lead to higher financial burden on my part, so I would be a bit wary of that. But again, if I were to get together with a guy who wanted to go back to school and work on himself, or had bad luck and lost his job, I wouldn't worry about it. It just can't be a lifestyle (to be unemployed or bouncing around) with zero goals. I don't really relish the idea of being the only source of income for two people, especially since I've experienced issues with "stay-at-home men". Essentially, I love the idea of a stay-at-home man, but the men - they've never been too eager to slip into that role. There is no way I would be paying the bills so a guy can stay home, not cook or clean and play video games all day. So yeah. Depends.

Oh absolutely with 100% certainty, men that are financially stable and can support themselves as well their significant other are a major bonus.

Not saying the women should be a slouch either but still, if the man is the breadwinner of the home it does make life a bit easier, and I think I speak for lots of women when I say that we do appreciate it.

My husband has always been there for me, even when times were tough and we were nearly dead broke, he's helped me and I've done the same in return. Sometimes we would pay each other's bills when times were tight pre-marriage when we lived separately. It's just things like that that makes me appreciate and respect him so much more. Honestly I'm blessed. 😊

As for a potential partner, yes, I would appreciate it greatly if they had a stable job because if they don’t, it would make it difficult for both of us. It shows that they aren’t really responsible if they’re constantly in and out of jobs or jumping from job to job.

Yeah, without a solid income, it’s stressful. My husband and I both were out of work for almost a year and it was very stressful.

Now we finally landed a steady job that also pays well.
