How long should you wait for a girl to text you back before you assume she’s not interested or blocked you?

I went dancing with this girl I met at the club and she gave me her number twice. It didn’t go in the first time when I tried it so I had her type it in my phone before we split for the night. She did mention she wanted to see me again and was grinding on me heavily during dancing. I texted her about a day later and haven’t heard back. I’m very new to all of this dating stuff and everyone says they can understand my generation and technology. Practically speaking I can’t either. Just want some opinions on who thinks this is the real deal or not. To clarify I met this girl at the club.

Some girls might pretend to want more then they do because they want the man to show interest and affirm their belief that they are attractive and one draw back to not dating in your previous life is that you might take these situations as a negative reflection of you, when it should be viewed as a forgettable event out of many memorable ones in the future. She might have a man or more than one man keeping her busy and uninterested in new people.

Alright so here’s the deal. Unless you sent a stupid text message she would have text you back already if she truly liked you. She probably decided to text one of the other five guys she gave her number to that night. There’s a chance she might text you back or might not. Girls who text back 7+ hours or days later aren't really interested in you. Girls stay on there phone. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Talk to more girls

Lol, I know this may be hard to believe but we've all been there. Reality is you just can't put that much into any one woman. If there's one tip I can give you it's that what a woman says in the moment is %100 based on how they feel. Once you understand that it will get easier for you. You should always take what a woman tells you w/ a grain of salt. I'll give u a personal example, I once turned down a woman I was attracted to who sent me a long text begging to see me. Do you know why?

Because I realized that she was just lonely. She had never sent a long text like that begging to see me so I knew something was up. What happened was she had actually been turned down by someone else earlier that night and was using me as an emergency dick. Inexperienced guys w/ no options probably would jump at the opportunity however, I knew that she was only saying how much she missed, me and wanted to see because in that moment she was feeling lonely and insecure. If I would have come over in that moment she would have viewed me as a guy she can get whenever she wanted. Instead I waited two months later until I was feeling horny and text her to come over and ended up smashing her for next 6 months.
