Why are some real untalented people so successful and others not?

There are so many really talented people out there and most of us do not even know them,. But these days so many so called"stars " and " public figures" came into the picture that we do not even notice the real talents out there anymore? And I'm not talking about JUST celebs, there are writers and musicians and all kind of people out there we know nutn about. Why is this happening?

Because talent does NOT equal success. It depends what industry you're in, but other things often equal success such as ruthlessness, unscrupulousness, persistence, ambition, drive, desperation, constant hard work, endless practice, perpetual hustling, connections etc etc

There are millions of people who are significantly talented and live very normal ordinary lives. Think of all the people who ended up going on those talent shows and blowing away the judges. Most of them were totally regular people working regular jobs. They had talent, but they didn't have all the opportunities or bulldozer drive of people who pushed themselves into the spotlight.

success is a combination of lots of factors. talent and skill obviously have a lot to do with it, but there's also a component of luck that's larger than people would like to imagine.

The standards for talent have been lowered for some reason; most people just want what looks good, not necessarily who is actually good.

A couple of reasons, the first is that behind every celebrity there is 1000 other people who are very talented at making people without talent look good

And because people keep dishing out their money for crap. If people didn't pay money for sh*t movies they would stop making them.

I'm sure you spend money on a lot of crap I would not dream of touching that only gives money to talentless people, maybe not in entertainment but in other areas.

Because it doesn't take smarts to make money you just have to know how to exploit people and sadly it always seems the dumb sh*ts that don't deserve the success seem to get it, such is life.

it's always been that way unfortunately, it just seems like it's more now because we're living now and not in past decades. but it's not much different from the past really. life is not always fair as voltaire said.

The media. Even if it is negative responses towards said "untalented" person they will still feed you the crap.
