Do women have unrealistic standards?

This is human nature. In fact it’s the nature of many animals.

In the past 80% of women reproduced in comparison to 40% of men.

Natural selection is mainly about females either being “won” by males who fought off rivals, or females choosing them. It’s mainly about weak males being weeded out, not so much females.

Monogamy was encouraged in order to create more stable societies, because men with wives and children are more likely to be productive and co-operative, whereas men without them are often angry and have nothing to lose.

In order for this to work all kinds of rules have to be in place. People need to be religious, their needs to be heavy shame and stigma around promiscuity, pre-marital sex, adultery, divorce.

Once you remove those things women will act according to their nature, and this is how they evolved over hundreds of thousands of years.

They correlate almost exactly to my experiences in real life interacting with women.
Yes, in my opinion, women do have insanely unrealistic standards, but don't expect women to ever admit it or work on changing hypergamy anytime soon. It is what it is. If you can't beat the odds, the only winning move is to not play the game.

I view most statistics as BS. As all statistics can be manipulated. Even statistics on Statista isn't 100% accurate. However I agree some women can have unrealistic standards and others settle for what they want and who they love whether they agree this to be true or not.

The definition of average is the central value of a set of data. Therefore 50% are below average and 50% are above average. However, their attitude sounds about right to me.

Funny because those same studies say that women still consider half of those guys lol. I guess that just goes to show how, ( I don't want to say desperate. Because I don't think that's it) driven they are by their need to be pair bonded.

It's true. Men have to try and become the best they can be to be in that top 20%. That's the way it works right now. Women definitely have higher standards for a man's appearence

It's not unrealistic, it's realistic because if every women let any man impregnate her then there would be no family or marriage. But then there would be no prostitution or rape either so sluts can be good too
