Should the guy visit the girl or the girl visit the guy?

A guy and a girl met online and have known each other for a while (2 years). They live in different countries (USA and Canada). If the girl and the guy were to meet up, would it be better for the girl to visit the guy and stay with him for a week, or for the guy to visit the girl first?

My parents would like to meet him first. They don't like the idea of me going to spend a week with someone they've never met.

Well I think whoever has got the most free time should go visit.You parents should be worried to even if your an adult.For a girl going to a new country can be dangerous and also its going to be hard because some canadians speak French.Also when you meet a guy online,your not really sure who they are what they say they are.You got to be careful in these situations because there are cruel people in this world who just want to get some from a girl.It would be best if he comes visit you,or take a buddy with you to Canada,buddy systems are always good.

Again I say have him travel to where you live. It's much safer for you and it would make your parents more comfortable with him in case you do want to go visit him on your own next time.
