I am a pretty shy guy and I will most certainly would appreciate a Lady asking me for an undertaking. Please of lovely ladies, make the first move so I dont have to be the masculine dick that comes up to you and asks you to dance or for a drink. But instead, if you see a fellow that might even spike you're interest. Just go for it and ask because you might make his day :)

Being masculine doesn't make you a dick, it just means you know you have one. Being arrogant, or a "bro" makes you worse than any dick could be.

There are times when men should be masculine. It's fine being nervous about making a move, but you should be willing to. That unwillingness you feel is something many women feel too. Treat other as you want to be treated. Women like considerate men.

It should go both ways, if you're attracted to someone and interested in dating them and they seem potentially interested go ahead.
