Why is it like most women really just want attention and not friendship or sex?

Maybe I’m crazy but I swear most women I’ve talked to just want my attention and if I try to make plans to hang out or try to flirt with them or whatever they aren’t interested. I don’t understand I feel like I’m missing something can anyone shed some light on this for me?

they are not interested in you romantically /sexually and when you try to make moves like flirt they feel awkward so friendship is impossible then as they know you see them as more than a friend

Like when I stop giving them attention they give me attention again and when I give them attention they stop. They flirt with me and give me their number or even ask for mine and then do this.

well that is just testament of their character, their attraction may not be deep, it was just fun and they dont really want you but there is noone better so they want attention
but not all women are like that
in my experience plenty of guys promise me start and a date and then never make firm plans
that just says what kind of person someone is, its not gender specific, same as w girls you talk about

And like just to give more details and just humor me if u don’t believe me most women find me really attractive so I don’t think it’s that they’re just being friendly. I think they actually just like the attention but I’m wondering how do I make actual female friends when most women who give me their numbers and actually respond to me seem to play this game? It’s like I could talk to 20 women and try to find one to be friends with and hang out with and maybe 1 will actually want to be my friend maybe. And it’s never any girl I’d actually consider dating. I’m just trying to make female friends of women I’d maybe consider just to get a sense of what women i would be interested in but that seems to be very challenging and time consuming.

hm i guess its same why guys promise stars to women and then act flaky
they are not responsable, this women are also those type of people, they may say and act how they feel in the moment but when actually thing has to be done they are not down to it
also you may be very attractive but you may not be everyone's cup of tea. Im pretty as well and i dont have luck in love nor every guy wanted to date me, it has to be a match, its not easy to find a loyal decent friend let along someone of the opposite sex
