Do only insecure people filter their pictures?

If a person filters every single picture or the majority of their pictures that makes me think they are insecure about the way they look

I don’t take many pictures.. I only have like 3 good pictures of myself. However, I think some apps come with an inbuilt filter feature?

Everyone has insecurities. Many are insecure about their smile, eyebrows, hair, lips, eyes, body etc.. and that’s okay. Insecurities just don’t go away.. confidence has to come from within. These toxic beauty standards aren’t helping either (for both men and women). Take these YouTube influencers for example, or beauty gurus - they use shit ton of filters while filming their videos and advertise a false image of what their skin truly looks like. I think people should stop focusing on their imperfections and just try to stay healthy, stay off junk food and eat nutritious food.

It’s your opinion. Sure, they may be insecure. What do you propose we do about it? Ban them from filtering their pictures? Maybe they just wanted to look good.

Yeah probably. Unless it is one of those "look, I got bunny ears now" kind of filters, I think those can be used for fun but I have no specific examples.
