I, personally, would have no interest in a woman who was wearing thick-ass makeup, fake, bat-wing eyelashes, heavy mascara, eye shadow, overly sculpted eye brows, or gaudy lip stick that changes the shape of her lips. I can tell what's fake. That transvestite style is not for me.
But merely evening out skin tones; accentuating eye lashes and brows with reasonable mascara that matches her natural hair color; and using lip gloss isn't deceiving. I see nothing wrong with a woman wanting to look feminine and at her best. It doesn't change the shape of her face or facial features. I can still see what she looks like.
I really like women who know how to look fresh and pretty with "no makeup" make up. I think it's charming, not deceiving.00 Reply

+1 yNah not really, a girl is of interest from more than how she looks, it’s her entire persona, how she talks, walks etc, her sense humour, that emotional connection.
If a guy is only going off a girls face on selecting someone for a relationship, then they are a bit of a fuckwit.
Also social media is not the same as real life, not that many wear a huge amount, also it’s more about the person.00 Reply
I don't think so.. makeup isn't deceiving, it's just to inhance the beauty of a person.
There can be many explanations for makeup but not deceiving.
Deceiving is persuading people that something false is the truth, but if someone have makeup on their face, we can just tell by looking at them that they've makeup on their face..
But if someone can't either they are stupid or just slow af.
If you ask someone they did makeup, they'll say yes, but them saying no is deceiving.
Pretending or going around telling people that, it's their natural look is deceiving!
Just assuming that it's their natural look is stupidity.
I myself have no knowledge about makeup but I can tell just by looking at people if they have makeup on their face or not and if there is, how much!!21 Reply- +1 y
I think he is talking about in regards too dating.
Respectfully, I disagree with the idea of it enhancing. I think that is the wrong word. It gives a person more beauty than they actually have. Grooming your hair is enhancing your beauty... Makeup is literally giving you beauty that you don't have. It's like being able to slap on a fake 6 pack. Tbh I might even dare to say it isn't that much different than plastic surgery in some cases. Makeup gives people amazing skin while in the process hiding their horrible or at the very least less beautiful skin. It even gives the impression of a different skin color. I just think it gives women a false sense of security and plays right into what benefits males. I think some women love the creative aspect of it but I believe a lot of women use it to hide and not have to overcome.
+1 ydepends on what kind of makeup someones doing. if you group all makeup as deceiving it'd be wrong. drag queen makeup isn't the same as a natural look for makeup. and usually you can't change features much unless you use like actual materials and add them to ur face to form or shape or whatever. which is more common on the eastern side of the world (asia) and for drags. sooooo. just because someone does eyeliner doesn't mean that. a lot of guys cover their huge foreheads with hats and hair. baby faces with beards. many things can be deceiving and some can just be enhanceful.

What Girls & Guys Said

@ihatemylife123 I disagree with many of the girls and guys. I think make-up is fine creatively speaking but not as a cover and especially not as an attractive force. There is this notion out there that make-up enhances the beauty that is already there. And that it is false. Grooming ones body hair is enhancing ones beauty. Losing weight is in enhancing ones beauty. It brings out what is already naturally there. Key word natural. Putting on make-up is giving a person added beauty that they do not have naturally while covering up skin that is natural. Things such as putting on eye lashes are not enhancing things that are already there. That is literally adding a whole new set of unnatural Eye lashes to your body.
In some cases, make-up can even crosses the line into plastic surgery territory. But does it not always cross that line in terms of skin? I think so.
Men have objectified women so much so that women won't even agree with anything I just said. They continue doing the things that benefit males. Creatively speaking is one thing but hiding insecurities and never dealing with them is another. Even to the smallest degree and we all have these issues. Just becuz make-up is normalized doesn't mean that something isn't wrong with it. We need to deal with our demons however small. I don't meet many people who are not insecure about something and the ones that aren't are usually older and have conquer themselves.00 Reply
+1 yI mean, sure. It's in the name. But at the same time, I wouldn't just flat out say people are using it to be "creepy" or "manipulative". A tiny bit of eyeliner is to highlight your eyes, a whole setup is because maybe you're going out. If someone is "ugly" under their makeup, and they feel insecure about how they look, do you blame them for using makeup to change how they look?
If anything, it's kinda on you for purely judging people based on their looks.00 Replyit depends. most of the time it's just to slightly mask the ugly features while improving the more flattering ones. the only time it's deceiving is when you're pretty much changing your identity with all of that heavy makeup layering. but such heavy layering would require HOURS of hard work, so it's not practical to keep it up. because of this, i don't think it's all that deceiving most of the time.
00 ReplyIt's common for both men and women to inflate their sexual mean value (SMV) on the sexual marketplace. Men boast about their income and socio-economic status and women put on makeup to appear more youthful and beautiful. It's upto the man to find out the real face beneath the make up and not give commitment without doing the same. And likewise it's upto the woman to verify the man's assets before committing.

+1 yno... but I am going to make a educated guess that most of these girls would clear up their acne and just over all terrible skin condition if they stopped smothering their faces under that much cosmetic.

+1 yYES! And it is destroying us! We have become so obsessed with perfection in our looks rather than accepting who and what we are! It goes way further than make up! Hair dies body binders and even surgery! ALL to achieve perfection that is impossible and destroying lives! Girls not eating and forcing themselves to throw up after. Shame on all of us!

Anonymous(18-24)+1 ySo you’re afraid to swipe right because a woman wears makeup?
Women are afraid to swipe right because a man could be a murderer, rapist, abuser, etc. I think makeup is the least of our worries as a society. Grow up 😂41 Reply- 558 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
+1 yNo, majority of women don't use that much make up in their daily life and also to be able to change your whole face with make up is a rare ass talent!

+1 yAs a dude, I never cared that much for girls with makeup, it looks fake, I appreciate the natural beauty of a woman, girls if you see this and you're my girlfriend or want to be my girlfriend, you don't need to wear makeup to impress me, as long as you're taking good care of your skin, I don't care. In my opinion, it's not gonna make you less feminine if you're not wearing makeup, if you wanna wear it cool, but it's not necessary for me
00 Reply996 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. this is FRAUD! I'm tired of this double standard women have. They can lie as much as they like to lock down a man with their ugly faces but a man who deceives a woman to get sex is the world's greatest evil somehow. Fuck off! Seriously.
30 ReplyYes.. it is
Nothing beats natural beauty.. I don't think I can date someone that uses makeup always cos it can cause various side effects, impacting the health and natural glow of the skin00 ReplyI think most of those girls still look the same. The ugly ones still look ugly but decorated.

+1 ymany women are masters of the visual lie when it comes to things like makeup, hair, clothing, etc. because there all used to enhance or hide her natural looks to some degree.

But yes, most females call men ugly but all look like gollum without their mask.10 ReplySeeing as deceiving is presenting a false representation of yourself to the world I'd say yes.
00 Reply890 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Most of the structurally ugly ones are still ugly with makeup. It is the ones with bad skin/acne who really look different with the makeup. Which makes sense.
00 ReplyI'm in the minority that makeup totally is. Just do things naturally, you're fine.

Need to grow some balls and have a definitive view on things rather than being on the fence all the time.

again grow some balls. Making an indecisive/vague answer makes u look feminine.

Oh no how manly you are, i bet your have like 2 t-shirts in your dresser huh? Both from target? So if your are makeup artist and your showing of a skill, if your making a video like music video or what ever, if it's Halloween. Then it's the right time and all that. Everything else is just bullshit. There is no need for make-up in the big picture of things. Less the better, natural is better
- +1 y
@Lookingforthetruth Saying that something is ok only in certain situationsis also a definitive answer. The world isn't black and white, hunny.
- +1 y
@BLkpinkjennie not really its a vague and very uncertain answer. Essentially staying middle ground on the fence of opinion so as not to disagree with either party.
